Use us do Your will, not our own will.
Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
Thank You for today. Father, use us to do Your will. And we know that if we seek and desire to do Your will, we shall know! We shall know that it is Your will and no our own. Let us continue to seek You above all others. Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior. He is truly the One whom we should imitate and set our sights on becoming. He did not do anything or say anything except what You told him to do and say. Mold us and shape us to also only do what Your will is for us to do.
We are so encouraged, comforted and edified if we stay in Your Word. Give each of us a deep, deep desire to read Your Word and to hunger for You. Let us above all else seek Your authority and not our own. We must lay down our own agendas to truly become the people You created us to be. Thank You for all that You are and for all that You do. In Jesus Christ’s holy and precious name we pray.
