You will do even greater things than these.
I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
John 14:12-13
Dear God,
Thank You for today. We are urged to live a life worthy of our calling. Without Your help, it is not possible. But with Your help, all things are possible. Help each of us to walk in the full power and authority that we are called to. Help us live lives where the impossible is our normal. Let us change the world around us by showing the true nature of Jesus Christ. The Jesus in the Bible. The Jesus who healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons and cleansed the lepers. We are called to be that Jesus!
Teach us Your goodness from Your Word, not from the world. Help each of us have the desire to open up Your Word and discover Your goodness for ourselves. Empower us to do even greater things than Jesus did. Show us the sick, the dead, the demons and the lepers. Put them in our path and help us to step into the boldness that the Spirit gives. When we open our mouths to speak, fill it with Your words. Create in us the love that we need to have for one another.
All this and so much more we ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
