We do not belong here in the world.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:20
Verse 18 and 19 that come right before this verse tell us that we are reconciled to God because we are in Christ. Not only are we IN Christ, but the Holy Spirit is IN us. God has all the bases covered!
When we are reconciled to God, our sins are no longer counted against us.
We are “ambassadors” serving God during this short time that we’re in the world.
Our real citizenship is in heaven. So why do we, as the Body of Christ, struggle so with being bold and sharing this message with the world?
We all know people who leave this world unexpectedly and tragically. Whether we live a short life or a long life, if we are not reconciled to God, it is all for naught. I know these words may make you uncomfortable. Good! We need to let these words make us uncomfortable enough to step up and do what we’re called to do.
Share the love and light of Jesus Christ with everyone God brings into our lives.
It is God’s will that not one should perish but He relies on us to be His ambassadors.
We need to stop allowing the enemy to attack us through our fears, insecurities, jealousies, and offenses. We need to stop allowing the world views to dominate our thinking. We must capture our thoughts and renew our thinking with what is most important, or who is most important – Jesus.
All that we do and all that we are should glorify and magnify Jesus Christ.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18
Let’s start being bold. Drop all of your problems and issues at our Savior’s feet so that we’re free to become who He called us to be.
We are Ambassadors!
Dear God, Thank You for calling me out as Your daughter before the creation of the heavens and the earth! Thank You for showing us throughout Your Word who we are and what our purpose is. Give each of us a deep hunger to know You better.
Give each of us a deep hunger to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit and with Your Son Jesus Christ. Thank You for reconciling us to Jesus. Your mercy and grace are beyond our comprehension.
Help each of us speak up boldly and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ above all other names! Empower and equip each of us to be Your Ambassadors to reconcile all to Jesus. We ask all this in His holy and precious name.
Stay in the Light and the Love always,
