Lord, fill me!
Fill my thoughts with your thoughts so I have the very mind of Christ. Transform my thinking. (Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 1:9-11; Psalm 27:8; 1 Corinthians 10:5)
Fill my ears with things You want me to hear. Filter out the voice of the world telling me I’m not enough. For we know that hearing is believing. (Romans 10:17; Luke 8:10)
Fill my mouth with words pleasing to you. I so desire to speak good, not bad. I want to lift people up and not tear down. Help me by filling my mouth with Your words. (Psalm 34-12-14; Ephesians 4:29-30)
Fill my shoulders with Your peace. This world can knot my shoulders more than anything but when I allow Your peace to invade my body, that knot goes away. (Psalm 29:11; Proverbs 14:30; Luke 1:79)
Fill my heart with Your love. Without Your love, life is not worth anything. Help me to be a beacon to the world, showing and sharing Your love with others. Fill my heart to overflowing so that I can then spill that on to all others who I cross paths with today. (1 Thessalonians 3:12-13; 1 John 4:10)
Fill my hands with Your gentle touch. (Proverbs 15:1; Matthew 11:29; Ephesians 4:2; 1 Peter 5:14)
All of You in All of Us!
Fill my stomach with Your fullness. You know my struggle with eating the right food. Fill my stomach today so that I am satisfied with all of Your offerings. Help me to kick to the curb the bad things that are not good for my body. (Romans 14:15, 14:17; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 11:29)
Fill my pocket with Your wisdom and discernment. Please show me when to give and when to save. My resources are Yours. I want to use all of them – my finances, my talents, my time – to please You. (Psalm 119:125; Malachi 3:10; Philippians 1:10)
Fill my legs with Your strength. I cannot accomplish anything in my own strength. But with You filling my every muscle, I can accomplish everything you desire for me to accomplish. (John 3:30; 2 Corinthians 12:10)
Fill my feet with Your direction. Keep me on the straight path that leads to the narrow gate. The only path. The only gate. (Psalm 27:11; Proverbs 3:6; Matthew 7:13-14; Ephesians 4:27)
Fill my spirit, soul and entire being!
Fill my spirit with Your Spirit. I want Your Spirit to guide me in this life. We are all called to be ambassadors for Christ. Guide me to be at the right place at the right time to change another’s life for Your Glory. (Psalm 16:11; Acts 2:28; Acts 4:31; Ephesians 3:19)
Fill my soul with Your joy. I want to be joyful always. In all circumstances. (Psalm 16:11; Psalm 86:4; Acts 13:52; Galatians 5:22; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Fill my entire being with faith, compassion and love. I know that faith grows and matures as we walk with You. Please continue the work You’ve started in me. I know that great faith like Abraham’s did not happen overnight. Help me to have patience in my own faith walk. You have promised to never leave me or forsake me. I circle that promise and claim it as my own. (Genesis 5:24; Psalm 18:25; Proverbs 3:3; Matthew 8:13, 9:22, 17:20, 21:21; Romans 3:22; Ephesians 3:20-21; Hebrews 11)
Stay in the Light and the Love Always,
