We need to grow in Christ to bring God’s glory to earth.
Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13
Dear God,
Thank You for today. We so grateful for Your instruction. Use each of us to build up one another in the Body of Christ. Help us to love and support one another. We each need to be aware of the power of our words – they can tear down or build up. Empower us to build up when we speak. Bring Your glory down to where we are and invade our generation. Shine on every nation.
As we walk through our day, allow Your glory to shine out from each of us to reach others for You. Shine brightly on us. One glimpse of Your glory is all we need. Help us to bring Heaven to earth so that there is unity in the Body. Use us mightily.
For this and so much more we are forever grateful. In Jesus name we pray.
