Confident hope does not disappoint.
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Thank You for today. Thank You for giving us hope that does not disappoint. Your hope is not what we’ve made it to be in the world. Your hope is a confident expectation of good. This is what we stand on in faith. A confident expectation of good! Thank You for the precious Holy Spirit who fills our hearts with His love.
When we run into problems and trials, help us to truly rejoice for we know that we are growing deeper into who You want us to be. Thank You for strengthening our frame and character. We thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
In His name we pray!
